Bombata on the street - The travelling businessman
Relaxing over an Eight Thirty coffee at Ponsonby Central, Maxwell Rodgers Sales & Marketing Manager Steve Elliston cuts a suave figure. From suede loafers to aviators, and a red Bombata laptop case, his outfit is well coordinated classic style.
Steve's work requires regular travel to the US for trade shows, normally in New York and Las Vegas. He also likes to get a little R&R somewhere warm each year - but regardless if travel is business or pleasure, Steve's laptop is always with him.
"My laptop goes everywhere!" he says. "Often I am travelling with a large bag of samples, and I love to collect books on art and architecture when I'm overseas, so my luggage can get quite weighty."
The slim lines of the Italian designed Classic Bombata Laptop Case
are ideal for international travel - easy to carry on for air travel, lightweight, and robust.
When attending hospitality trade shows to promote Maxwell Rodgers
bed throws, Steve puts his laptop case on top of his wheeled Samsonite for swift transits through the various airports.
A successful New Zealand business, Maxwell Rodgers works closely with leading designers to create fabrics for some of the finest hotels, casinos, cruise ships, airlines, aged care facilities and corporate offices around the world.
All 7000 rooms of The Venetian Hotel and Palazzo tower in Las Vegas feature a custom designed Maxwell Rodgers bed throw. Maxwell Rodgers also provided throws for Caesars Palace (right).
Just like the throws for their first ever job 20 years ago, for a W Hotel in New York, all Maxwell Rodgers bed throws are made in New Zealand.
